Simulation
Meadow Keepers
★★★★☆ 4.3
Meadow Keepers is the comfort pick. You inherit a run-down patch of land, plant a few crops, and slowly coax a little community back to life. There's no failure state, just a steady rhythm of tending and building.
What we appreciated most is how much it respects offline play. Crops grow on the game's own clock, not a server's, so nothing stalls when you lose signal. You can check in once a day or sink an hour into redesigning the orchard.
It's not flashy, but it's the game we kept open while half-watching TV, and that's a strong endorsement for a sim like this.
What we liked
- Relaxed pace with no fail states
- Grows on a local clock, fully offline
- Satisfying long-term town building
